DESCRIPTION: Rainbow Haven is a local favourite and only minutes from downtown Halifax. The beach is free of rocks, has shallow waters, lifeguards, a canteen, a boardwalk, ample parking and bathrooms/change rooms. An expansive sandy beach and with a beautiful landscape. It's a great place for families to spend a sunny afternoon. Although the surf and tides can be tricky at times, there are lifeguards on duty to put your mind at ease.
