DESCRIPTION: The First Lake Glen Slauenwhite Trail wraps around most of First Lake in the community of Lower Sackville. Quiet and scenic, this is an excellent trail for getting out and getting some exercise while enjoying the beauty of nature. Through its 3.3km linear duration it weaves between running alongside the lake and taking you through the forest under the canopy of Evergreens, Cedars and Birches. The First Lake Trail is also another excellent dog friendly trail, so bring your four legged friends along to enjoy the experience as well! This trail is also wheelchair accessible and well maintainted throughout the spring, summer and fall. This is a great trail to check out for snowshoeing and cross country skiing during the winter months!
