DESCRIPTION: Known colloquially as the BLT Trail, this is a popular trail among cyclists and stretches for 13km. It passes several beautiful lakes, including Governor Lake, Cranberry Lake, Black Point Lake and Five Islands Lake. There are benches located thoughtfully throughout the trail for you to stop, relax, take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery. It connects to the St. Margarets Bay Trail, also known as the Rails to Trails, allowing an avid cyclist to extend their adventure for many more kilometers if desired. Accessible from Lakeside Park Drive, there is a parking lot available near the trail head.
