GETTING THERE: Approximately 20 kms from the village of St. Peter's along route 247 also known as Point Michaud Road. Take Route 247 to Lower L'Ardoise and then continue straight along coastal route. Look for the signs for Point Michaud Provincial Park.

DESCRIPTION: Point Michaud is a local favourite surf spot located in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Point Michaud is the home of the Annual Point Michaud Surf Classic competition. It is a three day family friendly event for all ages featuring a surf competition, races, live music, campfires, BBQ and more.

The beach is world class stretching for a number of kilometres with crystal clear water and nice breaking waves. A perfect summer getaway for walking, running, lounging, surfing or exploring.
